Worship Service – 9:45 a.m.
Welcome New Pastor,
Rev. Dr. Paul M. Burns
What a tremendous joy it is to announce that Rev. Dr. Paul M. Burns is the new pastor at St. Mark Presbyterian Church. His first Sunday in the pulpit was Sunday, August 6th.
Rev. Dr. Burns has a Doctorate of Ministry and Christian Coaching from Western Seminary, Portland, Oregon, and a Master of Divinity from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Austin, Texas. Rev. Burns also has a Bachelor of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance from the University of Oklahoma. He has Clinical Pastoral Education from Methodist Dallas Medical Center and is a Certified Christian Leadership Coach from Coach Approach Ministries.
St. Mark was a divine idea from the heart of God, carried out through willing and obedient servants 70 years ago. The congregation looks forward to carrying on its mission statement that “St. Mark Presbyterian Church exists to know Jesus and to make Him known” under Rev. Burns’ ministry and leadership.
Members of the community are invited to attend worship services beginning at 9:45 a.m. All are invited to be a part of our new journey!
I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord!” Psalm 122:1
